The role
You will work in the dispatch area of our client company in Heerhugowaard, across the production area and the outdoor site. You will load and unload varied materials, from fencing to steel structures weighing several tonnes. You will also move exceptionally heavy, long loads up to 20 metres long.
You will handle safe loading and unloading, coordinate with customers delivering or collecting materials, and accurately maintain the loading and unloading schedule. You will also liaise internally with the office and transport planning team. Duties include uncoupling and moving trailers with a terminal tractor, operating a gantry crane and using overhead cranes. Safety is always a priority.
Hours

What you bring
- A valid forklift certificate.
- Experience in a similar production environment and safely transporting heavy loads.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- A crane certificate and terminal tractor certificate, or a willingness to obtain them.
- Strong spatial awareness, resilience under pressure and the ability to maintain an overview.
- Willingness to work outdoors.
- An accurate and safety-conscious approach to work.
