The role
A transport company in Zwaag is looking for a full-time hands-on cross-dock team leader. You combine leading the team with working on the floor, helping ensure that goods are processed safely, kept in good condition and sent to the right place on time.
Your responsibilities
- Lead employees during the shift, allocate tasks and monitor progress.
- Work directly in the cross-dock operation, receiving, sorting, transferring and loading goods.
- Monitor quality, productivity and planning, and ensure customer agreements are met.
- Promote safe working practices, correct use of equipment and a tidy work area.
- Coach colleagues, help new employees settle into the role and encourage teamwork.
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to make work smarter, safer and more efficient.

What you bring
- Working and thinking ability at MBO level, the Dutch vocational level.
- A qualification in logistics is an advantage.
- You are sociable, customer-friendly, accurate and hands-on.
