The role
As a full-time logistics warehouse operative, you will work for the client company in Barneveld, Gelderland, in a warehouse handling chilled goods. You will work in a chilled environment and wear suitable workwear. You will start in a department matched to your experience and preferences, with the chance to learn other tasks over time.
Duties and schedule
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Unload and check incoming goods, then store them in the correct location.
- Depending on your department, move pallets with a forklift or reach truck, replenish pick locations and relocate stock.
- Prepare consignments and assist with loading and unloading.
- Use scanners and a warehouse management system (WMS).
You will work 40 hours per week on a variable schedule. You must be willing to work irregular hours.
What you bring
- An interest in logistics or warehouse work.
- A sense of responsibility, commitment and reliability, with a desire to grow.
- Dutch and/or English language skills.
- The ability to work accurately and safely, cooperate with a team, learn and take responsibility.
- A forklift or reach-truck certificate is an advantage; you can also obtain one through the client company.
- Experience with an electric pallet truck (EPT), scanner or WMS is an advantage.
