The role
As a forklift and/or reach truck driver, you make sure raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods are moved safely and on time to the right place. Your work supports a smooth production process and timely deliveries to customers. You work closely with colleagues in logistics and production.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload and move raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Check incoming goods against transport documents and delivery notes.
- Store goods in the correct warehouse locations and replenish production areas according to the production plan.
- Carry out stock counts and report any discrepancies.
- Perform basic checks on products and materials.
- Keep the work area, forklift and warehouse clean and safe.
Schedule
The role is 36 hours per week on day shifts. You are rostered for four days within an operation that runs seven days a week. You must be willing to work weekends.
What you bring
- A valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate.
- Experience as a forklift or reach truck driver, or experience in logistics, is an advantage.
- Willingness to work weekends.
- Good awareness of safety, quality and accuracy.
- A positive attitude and motivation to work with others.
- A practical approach and a responsible, tidy and safety-conscious way of working.
