Move heavy and oversized materials between an outdoor yard and production in Wolvega. This 40-hour role runs in two shifts and pays €2,750–€3,000 per month, depending on experience.
The role
As a forklift operator with the client company in Wolvega, Fryslân, you will move materials around the outdoor yard and within the production area. Loads range from fencing to steel structures weighing several tonnes, with some loads up to 12 metres long. Careful, safe handling is essential.
Duties and schedule
- Load and unload incoming materials and items ready for collection.
- Move heavy and awkward loads safely.
- Prepare materials for production according to the planned schedule.
- Coordinate with customers delivering or collecting materials and with colleagues.
- Help with production work when needed.
You will work 40 hours per week in a two-shift system. Most of the work takes place outdoors on an open yard.
What you bring
- A valid forklift certificate.
- Experience in a similar production environment and safely handling large, heavy loads.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong spatial awareness and the ability to stay calm and keep an overview under pressure.
- Willingness to work two shifts and outdoors, and to help with production when needed.
