At our client company in Ridderkerk, Zuid-Holland, you combine forklift work with warehouse duties. Together with your colleagues, you make sure goods are received, stored and prepared for transport correctly.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Move goods to the correct locations in the warehouse.
- Check incoming and outgoing goods for quantities and visible damage.
- Pick orders and prepare consignments for dispatch.
- Complete the related records.
- Keep your work area tidy and follow safety procedures.
Shifts and working environment
This is a full-time role in a two-shift system: the early shift runs from 05:30 to 14:30 and the late shift from 14:30 to 23:30. The work takes place in a cold environment, so you should be comfortable working in these conditions.
What you bring
- Experience using a forklift and pallet truck.
- A forklift certificate. If you do not have one or it has expired, support is available to help you obtain it.
- Dutch language skills; basic English is an advantage when communicating with international drivers.
- Flexibility and a hands-on attitude.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment.
