The role
As a forklift operator, you will work at our client, a growing recycling company, across the paper warehouse and the loading and transshipment area in Sittard. You will help process incoming materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and sort incoming streams of paper, cardboard and plastics.
- Put pallets in the correct warehouse locations, move large paper rolls to the cutting machine and feed material into the paper press.
- In the loading and transshipment area, help inspect and sort loads, support destruction work and carry out forklift duties.
- In time, you may have the opportunity to progress to crane and/or wheel-loader operator.
