Work at the loading area, loading orders into trailers and operating mainly a forklift. Weekly rotating hours are 07:00–16:00 or 08:30–17:30. A forklift certificate, Dutch proficiency and the ability to work independently are required.
The role
As a forklift operator, you will work in the loading area of the client company. The team unloads, loads and dispatches customer orders each day.
Your duties
- Load orders correctly into trailers, following the order documents or scanner information and instructions.
- Operate several types of material-handling equipment, mainly a forklift.
- Follow safety, housekeeping and environmental procedures, as well as traffic rules on site.
- Carry out other duties reasonably associated with the department and role.
Working hours
Hours rotate weekly between 07:00–16:00 and 08:30–17:30.
What you bring
- VMBO-level work and thinking skills.
- A forklift certificate.
- Sufficient command of Dutch.
- An understanding of truck loading and how speed can affect a load.
- The ability to work independently.
