The role
At our client company in Guarulhos, you will carry out operational logistics tasks under established procedures and supervision. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight at open and closed trucks and sea containers.
- Move products, packaging and other materials around the site using a forklift and/or pallet truck.
- Sort and stage freight for checking and dispatch.
- Assist with cycle counts and official inventory counts.
- Inspect equipment and the work area, report maintenance needs, and prepare and clean packaging for dispatch.
- Follow health and safety procedures, wear personal protective equipment, and report incidents and accidents.
- Help achieve operational targets by tracking performance measures and working as part of the team.
What you’ll bring
- More than one year of relevant experience or an internship in a related area.
- A forklift operator certificate.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace software.
- The ability to follow directions and instructions carefully.
- Adaptability, willingness to learn, and interest in developing within the organization.
- A completed educational qualification is preferred, but not required.
