Our client company in Groningen is looking for an experienced forklift driver. You will pick orders using a forklift with double forks, load and unload trucks, and keep storage areas organised. Day shift, 32–40 hours per week.
The role
As a forklift driver/logistics operative at our client company in Groningen, you will support the logistics process. Your main task is order picking with a forklift with double forks. You will also load and unload trucks, collect products, keep storage areas organised, carry out other logistics duties and help introduce a new digital scanning system.
You will work the day shift from 07:30 to 16:30. The working week is 32–40 hours.
What you bring
- Extensive forklift experience and experience loading and unloading trucks.
- MBO-level education or work experience in logistics.
- A valid forklift certificate is preferred. If you do not have one yet, you can obtain it through our client company.
- Experience using hand-held scanners is an advantage; you are willing to learn how to use them.
- You are physically fit for the work, including getting on and off the forklift regularly.
- Good command of Dutch. Basic English or German is useful when communicating with foreign drivers.
- You stay calm under pressure and work respectfully with colleagues.
