A production site in Valkenburg needs an experienced forklift driver. Duties include internal goods transport, preparing raw materials and loading and unloading lorries. You need a forklift certificate and production experience. The role is 40 hours a week on a day shift.
The role
You will work at our client company in a production environment in Valkenburg. You will move goods around the site and prepare raw materials for production. You will also load and unload lorries carrying incoming and outgoing goods.
Your other duties include reorganising containers in the outdoor area, keeping the yard tidy, carrying out periodic stock counts as instructed by the supervisor, and maintaining the forklift and its batteries. You will follow HACCP, company and safety procedures.
Hours and offer
You will work 40 hours per week on a day shift. The contract is temporary, with the possibility of permanent employment. Pay is based on your knowledge and experience, and additional employment benefits are offered.
What you bring
- A forklift certificate.
- Several years of experience as a forklift driver and experience in a production environment.
- Experience in the food industry is an advantage.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- A results-oriented, flexible and safety-conscious approach, with a focus on solving problems and good communication skills.
