At our client company in Hapert, you will handle safe internal transport and storage of products and materials in a production setting. The job is on a two-shift schedule and requires forklift experience and a valid certificate.
The role
As a forklift driver at our client company in Hapert, you will handle the safe and efficient internal transport and storage of products, materials and tools in a production environment. You will record movements in the inventory system using a handheld scanner.
Responsibilities
- Move products, materials and tools around the production area.
- Set out packaging materials at machines and remove leftover materials.
- Assist with machine changeovers and positioning tools.
- Stage finished products by the strapping machine in the warehouse.
- Occasionally load and unload trucks using a forklift or overhead crane.
Working hours
You will work a two-shift schedule. Monday to Thursday, the shifts run 05:45–14:45 and 14:45–23:45. On Friday, the shifts run 05:45–12:00 and 12:00–18:15.
What you bring
- At least MBO-level work and thinking skills.
- Experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift certificate.
- A safe-lifting certificate (VCA) is an advantage.
- Strong safety awareness and consideration for others working in the production area.
- A quality-focused approach and care when moving and loading valuable, large and heavy products.
