As a forklift and reach truck operator in Wielsbeke, you keep the internal flow of goods moving. You prepare raw materials, supply production lines, check stock with a scanner and process records. The role follows a two-shift schedule.
The role
You make sure production and packaging have the right materials on time. Your tasks include:
- preparing raw materials for packaging and replenishing auxiliary materials at different lines;
- storing goods in the correct locations and returning raw materials to the racks;
- moving goods internally using a forklift and reach truck;
- monitoring the flow of goods and checking stock with a scanner;
- processing scan records and maintaining accurate administrative records;
- keeping the warehouse tidy and working safely.
You use a digital warehouse system every day. If you have not used it before, colleagues will train you.
Schedule
You work a two-shift schedule: the early shift runs from 05:00 to 13:00 and the late shift from 13:00 to 21:00.
What you bring
- Experience operating a forklift and reach truck, with the required certificates for both.
- The ability to speak and understand Dutch fluently.
- An interest in learning new digital systems and software.
- Clear communication, initiative and reliability in keeping commitments.
- A collaborative approach: you help colleagues and ask for help when needed.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work.
