The role
Our client company in Nieuwleusen is looking for an evening-shift warehouse logistics team leader. You will lead 6–8 English-speaking logistics employees; together, you pick and pack orders.
What you will do
- Coordinate the handover with the day-shift team leader, set priorities and assign clear tasks.
- Use the warehouse management system to check incoming and outgoing orders. Your team replenishes picking locations and processes incoming deliveries.
- During the order peak from 18:00 to 20:00, identify bottlenecks and adjust the team’s work. At the end of the shift, check that all goods have been collected and hand over the current status to the day shift.
- Act as the link between warehouse operations and the logistics team leader, and discuss process improvements.
Schedule
Full-time, evening shift from 14:00 to 23:00.
What you bring
- You are comfortable using systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
- You speak and write Dutch fluently and have a good command of English for communication with your team.
- Leadership skills in a logistics environment are preferred.
- You are flexible, quick to adapt and good at setting priorities. You take initiative and are motivated to help the team perform.
- You are willing to take on a role in the internal emergency response team, including a lead role.
What we offer
- Gross salary of €3,034.77 to €3,840.02 per month for full-time work, depending on age and experience. Salary is paid every four weeks.
- An 8.75% shift allowance.
- Travel reimbursement from a commute distance of 10 km: €0.23 per kilometre, up to 25 km one way. You can also opt into an additional scheme for further travel-cost support.
- Annual leave under the collective agreement for professional goods transport: at least 220 hours per year for full-time work, including ATV hours. You may also purchase four additional leave days above the statutory minimum each calendar year.
