The role
A client company in Hengelo, Overijssel, is looking for a Dock Worker. Using an electric pallet truck (EPT), you move orders from the departments to the correct dock and prepare them for their delivery routes. Your work helps the transport team set off promptly and keeps the logistics process running smoothly.
Your duties
- Move orders to the correct dock using an EPT.
- Check that orders are complete and ready on time for the correct delivery route.
- Keep track of priorities during busy periods and handle products, pallets and equipment carefully.
- Keep the docks clean, tidy, safe and accessible.
- Support the transport team and coordinate other dock workers.
What you bring
- An accurate, practical approach and a motivated, active attitude.
- The physical fitness needed for heavier work.
- The ability to maintain an overview and work efficiently when it is busy.
- An EPT certificate, or willingness to obtain one through the client company.
- Confidence to take the lead and direct other dock workers.
- Experience with SAP processes is an advantage.
- Availability Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and potentially on Sundays.
