Prepare goods for dispatch in the correct loading order, help with order picking and support other warehouse areas. The role has variable early and late shifts in De Lier, with pay based on experience.
The role
As a dispatch operative with our client company in De Lier, you make sure goods are ready to leave on time. You keep track of the loading sequence so the driver can unload efficiently.
What you will do
- Prepare goods for dispatch in the correct order.
- Pick orders when there are no dispatch orders to prepare.
- Help in other areas of the warehouse when needed.
- Work safely and accurately, and keep colleagues informed about changes.
Shift pattern
Shifts vary between early and late. Some days start early and you finish between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. You may be able to start later the following day.
What you bring
- An accurate approach and the ability to stay calm when several tasks need to be ready at once.
- The ability to communicate changes to colleagues.
- Flexibility, willingness to take on a range of tasks and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Dutch language skills and enough English to have a simple conversation.
