The role
You combine hands-on warehouse work with desk-based administration; roughly 60% of the role is operational and 40% administrative. You handle shipments containing hazardous and non-hazardous materials and goods for road, sea and air transport.
What you'll do
- Receive and inspect incoming goods and hazardous materials.
- Package, label and prepare goods for dispatch.
- Prepare transport documents and inspect and process shipments, including at customer sites.
- Advise customers by email and phone, and prepare quotations.
- Coordinate with drivers and colleagues.

What you bring
- Experience in transport or logistics, or a completed MBO qualification in one of these fields.
- The ability to work and think at MBO level.
- A good command of Dutch and English.
- A driving licence; the category is not specified. It is needed for work at customer sites.
- A customer-focused, hands-on approach, an interest in varied work and motivation to develop further.
- VCA, ADR awareness and forklift certificates. If you do not already hold them, you can obtain them after starting.
Training
The basic training also includes IATA DG training and IMDG training.
