Work as a cross-dock forklift operator in Venlo. Load and unload piece goods, scan and check consignments, and alternate weekly between early and late shifts, Monday to Friday.
The role
You will work in the cross-dock area of a transport company in Venlo, Limburg. As part of a regular team, you will handle incoming and outgoing goods.
Your duties include:
- Loading and unloading lorries.
- Scanning goods in and out.
- Preparing consignments for dispatch.
- Checking item counts and any damage.
- Completing pallet records.
- Signing consignment notes and recording the file number.
- Keeping the warehouse tidy.
Shift pattern
You work Monday to Friday on a two-shift rotation, changing weekly:
- One week: 06:00–15:00.
- The following week: 15:00–24:00.
What you bring
- Several years of forklift operating experience and a valid forklift certificate.
- Practical experience handling piece goods at a transport or freight-forwarding company is an advantage.
- You are a team player who is hardworking, hands-on and accurate.
- Good communication skills in Dutch.
- An interest in logistics.
