Work as a cross-dock forklift operator in Venlo, loading, unloading, sorting and scanning goods on night shifts from Monday to Friday. Hours: 32–40 per week.
The role
As a cross-dock forklift operator, you work in a dynamic logistics environment in Venlo. You handle goods carefully overnight and make sure consignments are ready for onward distribution. You load and unload trucks, trailers and distribution vehicles.
Your responsibilities
- Sort, move and stage goods.
- Scan goods in and out accurately and record relevant details.
- Carry out inventory scans when possible.
- Check goods for quantities, damage and discrepancies, and report irregularities.
- Handle ADR consignments carefully in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Keep the cross-dock and work area clean and orderly, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.
Working hours
Regular night shifts from Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 07:00. The position is for 32–40 hours per week.
What you bring
- Several years of forklift driving experience and a valid forklift certificate.
- An interest in logistics and warehouse work; experience loading piece goods or groupage freight is an advantage.
- An accurate approach and attention to quality, with the ability to work independently and flexibly.
- A team-oriented, responsible and proactive attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and willingness to work regular night shifts.
