Full-time cross-dock work in Venlo. Load and unload trucks, scan and prepare shipments, and work in a weekly rotating two-shift system. Several years of forklift experience and a valid forklift certificate are required.
The role
For our client in Venlo, in the Dutch province of Limburg, we are looking for a forklift driver for a cross-dock operation. You will handle a variety of goods and work with the team to keep truck loading and unloading moving smoothly.
Your duties
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Scan goods in and out and prepare shipments.
- Check item counts and report any damage.
- Complete pallet slips and sign consignment notes, noting the file reference.
- Keep the warehouse orderly.
Schedule and hours
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role with two shifts that alternate weekly. The late shift runs from 15:00 to 24:00. The hours for the other shift have not been provided.
What you bring
- Several years of experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift certificate.
- Good communication skills in Dutch.
- Education at VMBO/MAVO level.
- Experience loading general cargo or groupage at a transport or forwarding company is an advantage.
- An interest in logistics; you are a team player, hands-on, hardworking and accurate in a dynamic environment.
