A transport company is looking for a cross-dock and storage associate. You will load and unload vehicles, check paperwork, pick and prepare orders for dispatch, and keep equipment and storage areas clean. Afternoon and evening shifts; forklift certification and experience are required.
The role
Our client in the transport sector is looking for a cross-dock and storage associate. Your duties include:
- Loading and unloading all vehicles quickly and efficiently, and checking the accompanying paperwork.
- Picking orders in the storage facility and preparing them for dispatch.
- Keeping equipment and storage areas clean.
- Identifying discrepancies, damage or faults and reporting them to your supervisor.
- Carrying out other related tasks as required.
Shifts
You must be willing to work afternoon and evening shifts. The role includes late shifts.
What you bring
- A good command of Dutch.
- Willingness to work afternoon and evening shifts.
- A forklift certificate and experience operating a forklift.
- The ability to work under pressure, flexibility, accuracy and motivation.
- A strong sense of responsibility.
