Unload bagged goods from containers, set up the unloading machine and place sacks on a conveyor. Daytime warehouse work for 40 hours a week, with regular extra hours. Based in Barneveld, Gelderland.
The role
At the client company in Barneveld, Gelderland, you unload bagged goods from containers, including sea containers. You set up the unloading machine and place sacks on the conveyor at the required pace so they can be processed or stored.
You follow clear work instructions, spot visibly damaged or leaking sacks and take immediate action. You replenish empty pallets, keep your work area tidy and safe, use the required personal protective equipment and follow safety and occupational health rules. You work well with colleagues and help with other warehouse tasks, such as order picking, when needed.
Schedule and hours
You work day shifts for 40 hours per week. Work currently starts at 07:00 and may later change to 06:00. The container schedule can vary, so flexibility is important and extra hours occur regularly. Longer workdays can run until 18:00 at the latest; you will be informed at least one day in advance. Hours above 40 per week are paid at 125% of your hourly rate.
