The role
Our client company in Moerdijk, North Brabant, is looking for a chemical logistics team leader. You will be the main point of contact in the department that receives chemical waste. You coordinate daily work, monitor the schedule and set priorities. You help ensure work runs safely and smoothly, keep colleagues motivated and handle complex issues. When the supervisor is absent, you take over their duties.
Your duties
- Receive and guide truck drivers.
- Check, record and label pallets containing chemical materials.
- Move materials by forklift to the correct department.
- Monitor compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Help onboard new colleagues and contribute ideas for improvement.
You work both indoors and outdoors and take on a varied range of tasks.
What you bring
- A valid forklift certificate and VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain them soon.
- Experience coordinating or leading, or readiness to take that step.
- A full command of Dutch.
- A willingness to learn, resilience under pressure and the ability to keep an overview.
- Motivation to continue developing.
Schedule and offer
- 40 hours per week on the day shift.
- Gross monthly salary of €3,000–€4,000, depending on experience.
- 24 vacation days.

- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for a one-way distance of 6–30 km.
