Lead a work area of around 6 to 10 employees in Nieuwegein, covering the picking, packing and dispatch of orders. This late-shift role requires at least three years of logistics experience.
The role
At our client company in Nieuwegein, you will oversee a work area of approximately 6 to 10 employees. The team picks, packs and dispatches outgoing orders. You will work with the team leader and other assistant team leaders to keep the process running smoothly. The role is on a late shift.
Responsibilities
- Allocate work within the area.
- Support the team leader and contribute ideas.
- Coach and train employees.
- Implement and promote 5S.
- Monitor employee safety in line with the applicable policy.
- Cover for the team leader during absences.
What you bring
- At least MBO-level education and work-and-thinking skills.
- At least 3 years of logistics experience.
- Leadership skills and knowledge of logistics processes.
- Experience managing a team is an advantage.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
