Work day shifts in a warehouse in Venlo, Monday to Friday. Put away incoming goods, replenish stock and help sort orders by route, pick and pack them for dispatch. Experience is welcome but not essential.
The role
After your induction period, you will be able to work throughout the warehouse. You will put away incoming goods and work with the team to keep the shelves adequately stocked.
You will also support order dispatch by sorting orders onto the correct routes and preparing them for shipment. When needed, you will help pick and pack orders, contributing to a smooth logistics process.
Working pattern
You will work Monday to Friday on a day shift. Working hours fall between 06:00 and 18:00.
If you are following a Dutch BBL work-based learning programme in logistics, you must be available on Mondays, the busiest day. BBL students often work four days a week.
What you bring
- Knowledge of logistics work is useful but not essential. Training is provided, and people starting their careers are welcome.
- You are engaged, enjoy your work and treat customers and suppliers with respect and a service-minded attitude.
- You respond to complaints in a customer-focused way and are keen to contribute to a shared service.
What to expect
- The role starts with a temporary, full-time contract, with the aim of moving into permanent employment later.
- The position is graded in pay scale II/III under the applicable collective agreement; pay depends on your age and work experience.
- Guidance is available while completing a BBL programme. There is room to develop and progress towards a supervisory role.
