The role
At our client company in The Hague, you will help keep the warehouse running smoothly as an all-round warehouse operative. You will work in a small, close-knit team and support the branch manager with warehouse tasks, technical work and customer service.
What you will do
- Receive and check goods, then store them in an orderly way.
- Pick and prepare customer orders; occasionally deliver orders to customers yourself.
- Learn to use a sheet-metal folding machine and make made-to-measure items from zinc, copper and plastisol.
- Help customers courteously and knowledgeably in the warehouse and shop.
- Keep the work area clean, organised and presentable.
- With experience, you may also take on order processing, stock control and counter sales.
What you bring
- You are hands-on and enjoy physical work.
- You have technical aptitude; experience with metal or roofing materials is an advantage.
- You are customer-focused and a good team player, and can work independently.
- A category B driving licence is required; category BE is an advantage.
