Work as an all-round warehouse operative in Soest. Process incoming orders, pick machines and parts, prepare consignments and keep the warehouse tidy. The role is 40 hours per week.
The role
You check incoming orders and set priorities. You pick machines, accessories and parts and prepare them for dispatch. You inspect and record incoming equipment, then use a forklift to place it in storage racks. You assist customers and couriers collecting parts and hand over the correct items. You also carry out light administrative tasks, prepare consignments for carriers and keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
Hours and terms
You need to be available for 40 hours per week. The shift pattern, contract type and salary are not specified.
What you bring
- Recent warehouse experience, including experience using modern handheld scanners.
- An interest in technology is an advantage.
- The ability to work independently and keep track of tasks.
- A proactive approach and good teamwork skills.
- Accuracy and care in keeping the workplace tidy.
- A forklift and/or reach-truck certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability for 40 hours per week.
