The role
As an all-round warehouse operative, you help keep the logistics process running smoothly and maintain a tidy, safe and organised workplace in Sliedrecht, Zuid-Holland. You manage the warehouse and stock, organise storage locations, keep them up to date and improve their layout.
- Carry out quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
- Monitor the logistics plan and adjust it when needed.
- Assist customers and suppliers with loading and unloading goods.
- Keep the area around the workplace tidy.
What you bring
- A logistics qualification or substantial work experience in the field.
- The ability to read technical drawings and good technical aptitude.
- Digital skills and confidence using computers.
- A forklift and/or reach truck certificate, or willingness to obtain the relevant certificate.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach and attention to order and cleanliness.
- Clear communication and a good command of Dutch.
- The ability to oversee compliance with safety, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
- An interest in shipbuilding is an advantage.
