The role
We are looking for an all-round warehouse operative for a client company in Groningen. You will work in a small, close-knit team, supporting the flow of goods and customer service. The work is varied and calls for initiative and a practical approach.
Your responsibilities
- Receive and check goods, load and unload them, and store them in the correct locations.
- Pick orders and prepare customer orders; sometimes deliver them to customers or to a work site.
- Help customers in the warehouse and sales area in a friendly manner.
- Learn to use a sheet-metal bending machine and make parts to size.
- Keep your work area tidy and well organized.
- As you progress, you may also take on stock management, order processing and counter sales.
What you bring
- A category B driving licence is required; category BE is an advantage.
- You are comfortable with physical work and have good technical aptitude.
- Experience with metal or roofing materials is an advantage.
- You are customer-focused and cooperative, and can work independently.
