The role
As an all-round logistics operative, you handle incoming and outgoing goods, as well as internal goods flows for production. The work is varied and offers opportunities to develop further.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders and prepare them for dispatch.
- Print shipping labels and prepare consignment notes.
- Load and unload trucks, and sort and label goods.
- Drive a box truck between buildings; a category B driving licence is required.
- Check products for quality, quantity, packaging and serial numbers.
- Process goods-receipt forms and put received goods into storage.
- Pick components for assembly orders for the production departments.
- Record processes in the computer system, and complete and check administrative documents.
- Complete and archive transport lists, and process returned and repair goods with the associated forms.
- Keep the warehouse tidy and clean.
Requirements
- VMBO/MBO work-and-thinking level.
- Experience in a similar role or environment.
- A valid forklift certificate is essential.
- A category B driving licence.
- Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems.
- A customer-focused and flexible approach.
- The ability to work independently and accurately, remain calm under pressure and stay organised.
- A good command of Dutch.
