Part-time weekend role in Venlo checking the quality of fresh products. Monitor food safety and production checks, report deviations and help improve quality.
The role
As a weekend quality control assistant, you will work with the quality control team at our client company's production site in Venlo. You will help maintain the quality of fresh products and food safety, while also monitoring production checks and cleanliness.
Your duties will include:
- Inspecting the appearance of products and carrying out quality checks.
- Checking that production carries out the required quality checks.
- Identifying and reporting deviations, and raising them with colleagues.
- Contributing to ongoing quality improvement.
Schedule and working environment
This is part-time work at weekends in a cold production environment.
What you bring
- You are currently studying a relevant MBO- or HBO-level programme, such as food technology, food innovation, food and business, or a comparable subject.
- You have a good command of Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written.
- You have an interest in healthy food.
- You are proactive, take responsibility and can work in a cold environment.
- You are available to work at weekends.
What is offered
- A salary including 8% holiday allowance.
- Allowances for irregular working hours under the collective agreement for the wholesale fruit and vegetable sector; these can be up to 100%.
- Travel expense reimbursement from 10 km, up to a maximum of 30 km each way.
