Two process technologist roles in Glimmen, focused on water treatment, process improvement and interpreting data on emerging substances. 32–40 hours a week, with a one-year temporary contract and €4,239.00–€5,877.00 gross per month for full-time work.
The role
At our client company in Glimmen, Groningen province, two roles are available in water technology. You will work on complex water-quality and treatment challenges, turning measurement data, research and process knowledge into well-founded, practical advice. You will advise on efficient operations, optimize existing installations, support system choices and design bases for future installations, and identify opportunities for innovation, sustainability and more efficient water use. The work is project-based and involves collaboration with colleagues and external experts.
One role focuses on industrial water and covers optimization, research, design choices and advice across water technology. The other combines technology work with Non-Target Screening (NTS): helping to identify unknown and emerging substances, contributing to the further development of NTS, and interpreting complex results in relation to water abstraction, water quality and drinking water production. You will connect chemical identification with toxicological information and evidence-based risk assessment.
The work covers the treatment of groundwater, surface water and industrial water, as well as wastewater treatment.
