You monitor quality and safety at infrastructure project sites around Zwolle, mainly outdoors on cable, pipeline and network projects. The role is 40 hours a week, with a salary of €3,200–€4,500 per month.
The role
As a Quality Inspector, you will spend around 90% of your working week outdoors at different project sites in the Zwolle area. Projects include replacing cables and pipelines and expanding existing networks. You will work independently and coordinate regularly with the site supervisor.
You will monitor quality and safety, carry out workplace inspections, set a good example and step in when you identify unsafe situations. Your checks will include:
- confirming that barriers are correctly positioned and the work area remains safe and tidy, including before the evening and the weekend;
- checking that everyone is wearing the correct personal protective equipment;
- confirming that the pre-start meeting has taken place, the right people are on site and they have been briefed using the correct work plan;
- checking that the site is set up properly and the equipment is suitable and inspected;
- monitoring compliance with safety, occupational health and environmental regulations, including the Safety and Health Plan.
About you
- You have at least the equivalent of Dutch MBO-level working and thinking ability.
- You enjoy being out and about, stay calm when things get busy and work with colleagues to safeguard quality and safety.
- You are curious about technology and infrastructure.
- Previous experience is not required. You will receive good guidance and have room to progress towards a site supervisor role.
