The role
As a Senior RD&T Process Technologist, you develop and implement new pharmaceutical products and processes for production, with a particular focus on tableting. You act as the link between clients and the team and coordinate product transfers. Within the RD&T team, you are the subject-matter contact for pharmaceutical technology and product development.
You lead day-to-day operational activities, focusing on tableting and FDF processes, and ensure efficient workflows and coordination across the different stages of operations. You own the product development process, including process development, technology transfer, method development and validation, and develop it further. You coordinate technical feasibility assessments as part of the quotation process, manage the product development project portfolio and provide management reporting. You also lead the RD&T team.
You proactively identify opportunities to develop and improve technology and maintain contacts in science and industry. You maintain and expand the capabilities of the R&D pilot plant, and use it for small-scale GMP production, for example medication for clinical trials. You communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and collaboration.

What you bring
- A completed higher-education qualification in life sciences, at HBO or university level
- A PhD in a relevant field is an advantage, for example analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical technology
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical product development and production and/or quality control
- Demonstrable project management experience
- Dutch language skills at B2 level or higher
- English language skills at B2 level or higher
