The role
As a Senior QA Officer at our client company, a fast-growing manufacturing business, you will be a key member of the QA team. You will prepare and review quality documentation, coordinate notifications of finished products, and organize responses to customer compliance questions. You will also coordinate KAM (quality, occupational health and safety, and environment), keeping risks and challenges within and around the business in view. The role is based in Purmerend, North Holland.
Responsibilities
- Compile PIFs (Product Information Files) and organize notifications of finished products with the authorities.
- Coordinate the handling of complaints and other compliance matters.
- Check product claims against applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor actions arising from audits, complaints, and other QA matters.
- Draft, review, and keep GMP procedures, reports, and other documents up to date.
- Organize KAM activities and develop methods to manage related risks.
- Arrange internal KAM audits and ensure the reports are documented.
What you bring
- At least an MBO level 4 diploma in chemistry, food technology, or an equivalent field, plus HBO-level working and thinking skills.
- An affinity with quality, occupational health and safety, and the environment, as well as several years of demonstrable QA experience. KAM experience is an advantage.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Accuracy, independence, and integrity.
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines and legislation for cosmetics is an advantage.
