As a Senior QA Officer for micro-ingredients, you support quality and compliance across the procurement chain. You review supplier and product records, follow up on checks and complaints, and improve ingredient monitoring. Full-time in Amersfoort.
The role
At our client company, you will support quality assurance for micro-ingredients across the procurement chain. You will review and maintain relevant data and documentation for combinations of items, suppliers, manufacturers and operating entities, helping ensure compliance with applicable regulations and QA systems.
Key responsibilities
- Review and maintain data and documentation for items, suppliers, manufacturers and operating entities.
- Communicate with suppliers about changes to requirements, including labelling, to help ensure product conformity.
- Support the QA manager with planning and follow-up of activities under GMP+ and NVWA requirements.
- Coordinate QC checks for incoming goods with customer service and external warehouses, follow up on agreed SLAs, and carry out or support warehouse visits and audits.
- Maintain and improve the ingredient monitoring programme, and assess physical, chemical and microbiological results and parameters.
- Support customer service and other stakeholders with quality complaints and day-to-day quality issues; monitor trends and follow up promptly.
- Help support the availability of micro-ingredients in a changing procurement environment.
- Contribute to certification and audit activities, trend analysis, and the continuous improvement of processes, tools and systems.
What you bring
- Fluent Dutch and English.
- Experience in a food- or feed-related industry.
- Experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain is preferred.
- Knowledge of QA systems and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ability to assess physical, chemical and microbiological results and parameters.
- Ability to work with M3, 1-QM, Alert, GLT and LIMS.
- Good internal and external communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different functions.
