As Senior Process Technologist in Moerdijk, you will set operating limits, support production with complex process issues and develop data-led improvements and investment proposals. The role follows a day-shift schedule.
The role
As Senior Process Technologist, you will contribute to ongoing process optimisation and innovation, helping to improve safety, environmental performance, efficiency and reliability. The position is based in Moerdijk, Noord-Brabant, and follows a day-shift schedule.
What you will do
- Set the operating parameters within which the installation may run.
- Act as an escalation point for the production organisation when issues cannot be resolved at first-line level.
- Define and quantify process improvements and innovations through data analysis and a clear business case.
- Develop technically sound CAPEX investment proposals and turn OPEX improvements into action plans, ensuring the improvements are embedded in the organisation.
- Work closely with the project organisation and build your understanding of upcoming projects.
Preparations are under way at the site for a CO₂ capture project and a post-separation facility.
What you bring
- Education at HBO+/WO level in chemical technology.
- Experience with steam is an advantage.
- Good command of Dutch; English and German are an advantage.
