The role
As Senior HSE Specialist for green gas, you will develop and implement strategic policy for health, safety and the environment at production sites in the Netherlands. The role is based in Venray. You will work with the sites and act as an HSE sounding board for the management team in the Netherlands. HSE policy still needs to be developed for several locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to reduce risk and promote safe working practices.
- Organise training and information sessions on HSE protocols and life-saving safety rules, keep employees informed and ensure contractors follow HSE requirements.
- Take part in internal and external audits and internal inspections, assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, establish their causes, develop improvement measures and report on HSE performance.
- Raise HSE issues with management, follow up on actions and contribute to the strategic HSE approach in the Netherlands.
- Work with production sites in different parts of the Netherlands. You may later guide an additional colleague focused on the practical implementation of HSE at the sites.
