Work as a senior analytical laboratory analyst in an environmental and safety lab. Test consumer products using GC-MS, ICP-MS, LC-MS, LC-DAD, XRF and FT-IR, maintain instruments and quality procedures, and work 39 hours per week.
The role
You will work as a senior analytical laboratory analyst in a team focused on environmental and safety testing, alongside laboratory technicians, analysts and quality staff. You will test samples of consumer products against current European guidelines and standards. Virtually all products are tested in-house.
You will carry out analyses using GC-MS, ICP-MS, LC-MS, LC-DAD, XRF and FT-IR. The work also includes calibrating and checking equipment, performing maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
You will manage the quality management system’s procedures and work instructions, keeping them up to date.
What you bring
- A completed higher professional or university degree in analytical chemistry and at least five years of laboratory experience.
- Experience with ISO 17025 or ISO 9001.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and LIMS.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Strong technical insight.
- An accurate, solution-oriented and proactive approach.
