The role
At our client company in Kaatsheuvel, Noord-Brabant, you support the implementation of the safety policy. You help maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. You also raise safety awareness among managers and employees, advising the manager responsible and company leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of project safety plans and identify potential safety risks at an early stage.
- Help prepare task risk analyses (TRAs) for specific or new work involving high safety risks.
- Carry out the legally required risk inventory and evaluation (RI&E), prepare the associated action plan and support its implementation.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections.
- Support root-cause analysis, follow-up of unsafe situations and the improvement cycle.
- Assist the responsible manager with communication with competent authorities.
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulations and standards and flag potential safety hazards.
What you bring
- Training as a safety professional at intermediate or higher level.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety, health and environmental (VGM) requirements and Dutch occupational health and safety legislation (Arbowet).
- Discretion when handling confidential company information.
- The ability to work independently, an analytical approach and strong communication skills.
- Dutch spoken and written; English and German are an advantage.
