The role
As an MVK safety officer, you will support projects involving the installation and replacement of underground cables and pipelines. You will work with a quality, health, safety and environment team and act as the contact for project safety matters. The role is in Elst.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and motivate employees to embed safety and health in day-to-day work.
- Advise proactively on safety measures and health risks.
- Support the preparation of health and safety plans, task risk analyses (TRA) and risk inventories and evaluations (RI&E).
- Investigate incidents and near misses, apply analysis methods, and follow up on improvement actions.
- Promote safety awareness and answer safety-related questions.
What you bring
- Completed education at MBO or HBO level.
- A diploma in Middelbaar Veiligheidskundige (MVK).
- Knowledge of the Safety Culture Ladder.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in safety and/or underground infrastructure is an advantage.
- A good command of English is an advantage.
Contract and benefits
