Full-time laboratory role developing and improving chemical formulations and textile products. Run tests, report findings and contribute ideas for product innovation.
The role
As an R&D laboratory technician, you maintain and improve existing chemical formulations, including coatings, textile finishes and dye recipes. You help keep them aligned with changing environmental and safety requirements and support product optimisation.
You contribute ideas for product innovation and develop new formulations and finished products at laboratory scale. The work may cover woven and knitted fabrics, dye recipes, textile finishes, coatings, mechanical treatments, bonding and lamination.
You carry out a range of tests and test series for basic research, process results and report them verbally and in writing. You also provide occasional technical and commercial support.
What you bring
- A completed laboratory or textile qualification, another vocational qualification at MBO level, or working and thinking skills at MBO+ level.
- Some knowledge of and an interest in chemistry and textiles.
- A creative, curious, positive and flexible approach to work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to complete relevant training.
- Good command of Dutch, German and English.
Working hours and location
This is a full-time position in Losser, Overijssel.
