Lead certification of management systems and food products, help shape the certification strategy, and coordinate external processes. Full-time in Mierlo; requires food-industry certification experience, professional English, and German or Dutch at C level.
The role
The position is based at our client company in Mierlo, Noord-Brabant. As Quality Manager for Certifications, you are responsible for the certification of management systems and products to support access to regulated markets. You contribute to the long-term certification strategy and combine planning and coordination with hands-on preparation of documentation for external certification.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to defining the long-term certification strategy.
- Plan and coordinate certification processes and prepare documentation for external certification.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate with external inspection, verification, testing and certification organizations, as well as authorities.
- Support local certification processes; the role requires a willingness to travel.
What you bring
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in the certification of food products and management systems.
- Experience with ISO management system standards and their integrated use.
- Experience with GFSI-recognized food safety systems and food certifications such as Kosher, Halal, organic and Non-GMO.
- Experience with CSR assessments and reporting.
- Extensive experience in the food industry and global supply chains.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work in an international, intercultural environment.
- Willingness to travel and support certification processes locally.
- A relevant university degree is desirable.
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English, and German or Dutch at C level.
