The role
At our client company in Hilvarenbeek, Noord-Brabant, you inspect steel structures and components during and after production. You work at production sites and directly influence the quality of the finished work.
What you will do
- Check dimensions and execution against technical drawings.
- Assess finish, completeness and weld quality.
- Identify points to consider in subsequent processes, such as hot-dip galvanising.
- Carry out visual weld inspections and record checks and findings.
- Discuss deviations constructively with colleagues and contribute to solutions.
What you bring
- Technical aptitude and experience in steel construction or a comparable production environment.
- The ability to read technical drawings and knowledge of welding processes and quality standards.
- At least MBO-level working and thinking ability in a technical field.
- The ability to work independently and accurately and to address colleagues constructively.
- Proficiency in English.
- A VT2 certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
