Inspect components in Rotterdam against technical drawings and dimensional protocols, support QA and QMS activities, and investigate quality issues. Gross salary: €3,380–€5,566 per month.
The role
As a Quality Engineer (QA/QC), you carry out manual quality inspections of components, take measurements and compare the results with 2D drawings and dimensional protocols. A component can move to the next production stage only after your approval. Your workplace is in a workshop in Rotterdam, where you work closely with engineering and project management.
You update internal systems so project management can track progress. You also work on quality assurance (QA), manage the Quality Management System (QMS), and collaborate with engineering to help ensure processes meet quality standards. You analyze trends and investigate the root causes of quality issues to help prevent future errors.
You prepare quality reports and provide technical advice on quality, inspection and test plans, and improvement initiatives. You report deviations, prepare and register non-conformance reports (NCRs), and follow them through. You also troubleshoot quality issues and follow up on solutions. In addition, you conduct inspections to assess quality assurance at suppliers, subcontractors and customers in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad.
