The role
At our client company in Katwijk, you will work in the quality department of a business in the food sector. As a Quality Control (QC) Officer, you measure and check product characteristics to help ensure product quality. You work alongside the QA colleague and the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
- Carry out floor inspections, check records and take samples.
- Identify deviations and support production in maintaining and improving quality and food safety.
- Measure and monitor work processes and communicate improvement points to production staff.
Schedule and offer
This is a full-time role; part-time can be discussed. No specific shift pattern is stated.
- A 12-month fixed-term employment contract, with the possibility of extension.

What you bring
- A completed MBO-level qualification in food technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A good command of Dutch, both spoken and written.
- A team-oriented approach, good communication skills and a focus on results.
- The ability to spot deviations, work accurately and think critically.
