The role
As a Quality Control (QC) Associate, you help safeguard product quality, food safety and product integrity. You carry out checks and measurements, record results in line with the quality management system, and work with QA colleagues. You also help build quality awareness at the production site.
Responsibilities
- Review registration forms daily and discuss deviations with colleagues.
- Take product samples for various analyses.
- Monitor compliance with the quality system and flag opportunities for improvement.
- Carry out inspection and control rounds, including hygiene checks.
- Prepare presentations and short instructional materials, and give instructions to colleagues.
- Support the ongoing implementation of the 5S methodology and assist with other QA/QC tasks.
Hours and location
The role is based in Oudewater, Utrecht Province, and involves 36 hours per week. No specific working pattern or shift schedule is stated.
What you bring
- An MBO-level qualification or equivalent working and thinking level; a food-related background is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems, including HACCP and IFS. Experience with quality systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Basic knowledge of food safety in production.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
- Strong Dutch and sufficient English; Polish is a plus for instructing colleagues.
- Clear communication and a positive attitude.
