The role
You will oversee the quality of products made using additive manufacturing equipment. Around 60% of your time is spent on the production floor, monitoring production and encouraging teams to meet quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop work instructions with the application development team for quality checks of printed parts, based on customer specifications.
- Prepare work instructions for quality checks on incoming printer components and raw materials used in production.
- Explain to teams why parts or materials are rejected.
- Work with the hardware team to define specifications.
- Conduct internal audits as a member of the internal audit team.
- Identify process improvements and implement them with the production and application teams. Create procedures and instructions and improve them continuously.
Requirements
- A relevant MBO/HBO qualification in engineering.
- Experience reading technical drawings.
- Experience or an affinity for quality in the high-tech or a comparable industry.
- Knowledge of quality standards and relevant regulations, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
