You follow up on production quality issues, review non-conformities, agree corrective and preventive actions with suppliers, advise production and prepare monthly quality reporting. You also develop an improvement plan and conduct an audit at an assembly partner.
The role
As a Quality Control Engineer at our client company, you support quality assurance in a production environment with machinery and modules. You start by reviewing emails and walking the production floor, discussing current priorities with inspectors, fitters, electricians and project buyers. The role is based in Berkel-Enschot, North Brabant.
Responsibilities
You review new non-conformance forms and identify recurring issues with a supplier. Together with the responsible buyer, you discuss the issue with the supplier, request a root-cause analysis, agree on a corrective action and set a deadline for developing preventive measures.
You prepare a monthly dashboard of quality performance for key module builders. When production reports a critical issue, you investigate it on the production floor and advise on next steps. You also develop a quality-improvement proposal for an assembly partner whose performance needs to improve, conduct a quality audit at the partner’s site, present the proposal and agree an action plan to monitor progress.
