Work as a Quality Control Analyst in Zeewolde, testing raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials and finished products. Perform chemical and microbiological analyses and process results. MBO level 4; early-career applicants are welcome.
The role
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will carry out a range of laboratory tasks to check raw materials, packaging materials, materials in the production process and finished products. You will use classical chemical and microbiological methods.
The role is based in Zeewolde, Flevoland.
What you will do
- Carry out chemical analyses using HPLC, GC and UV-Vis, as well as titrations and pH, density, IR, viscosity and refractive index measurements.
- Prepare samples for microbiological testing and assess growth curves.
- Process and record results in the relevant system.
- Arrange for analyses to be carried out by external laboratories.
- Propose and implement improvements to make work processes more efficient and to introduce new analytical techniques.
What you bring
- A working and thinking level equivalent to Dutch MBO level 4.
- A few years of relevant experience are preferred, ideally in a comparable food or cosmetics production environment. Early-career applicants are also welcome.
- Knowledge of and experience with HPLC are an advantage.
- Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
- A proactive, results-driven and persistent approach; you are decisive, entrepreneurial, work well in a team and communicate effectively.
